The 15th European Velo-city conference 2009

E-mail Print PDF

velocity2009-logoThe 15th European Velo-city conference 2009, entitled 'Re-cycling cities', took place at the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels from 12 to 15 May. During the conference, there were speeches from 120 national and international speakers, and Brussels' bicycle week also took place alongside the conference at the same site.

We were present at the Velo-city expo, sporting our newly made "Seal the Deal" t-shirts designed by Jean-Paul Knott, and with a real life CoolPlanet Wall of Events where participants shared their events, tips and innovations.  Our favourite tip: "Four wheels bad, two wheels good."

The week ended with the great Dring Dring bike party on 17 May 2009.
